One Sunday a month, myself and a partner put together an erotic storytelling event. This event takes place at a local bar in a more or less isolated space. It is a beautiful event where people share stories they have either written or find very appealing and would like to share.
This is Day 11 of Hyp-November.
We call it Tantalizing Tales – Allocutions Alléchantes. This gathering of erotic storytelling enthusiast is an absolutely splendid event to practice all kinds of hypnotic voice techniques and language. This event is not hypnosis specific though many of the attendees love erotic hypnosis and the stories revolve a lot around mind control and hypnotic undertones.
Hypnotic language, voice and tones make up a huge part of any storytelling. My voice, my delivery is more important than the content itself (don’t tell anyone I said that). The only difference between a guided meditation, an erotic storytelling and erotic hypnosis is the intention behind it. I love taking advantage of this monthly opportunity to practice any sort of group hypnosis. It is more akin to stage hypnosis in that you are performing, it is a show, a demonstration of sorts.
But what is hypnosis if not a little pageantry? I am being silly but as a hypnotist your presence, your energy is important. This is true regardless of the medium you use: Phone, video, mp3, in person…
Can Erotic Storytelling be Hypnosis?
The best thing about storytelling is that with just the tiniest of tweaks, it can easily become a hypnotic experience. Taking you through an adventure in your mind with nothing more than words. Experiencing a story through the power of hypnosis is an amazing thing. The Hypnotist using all modalities to create a realistic, tangible, palpable experience for the subject.
