Playful hypnosis… There are days, moments, weeks, insert time interval in which I fear I forget that play is an important part of the D/s dynamic. It really depends on the dynamic you have with your partner/sub/bottom/Top/Domme… I have often gone through periods of time in which I take myself too seriously. Or feel like I do anyway… So what is a Domme to do? Embrace the cold, uncaring archetype or find another way? There are no wrong answers… Either one is a great direction.
I chose to be practice playful hypnosis. I infuse a little silliness in my erotic hypnosis sessions. There are so many parts of hypnosis. Many different ways it can play out.
What is Playful Hypnosis?
For me, it is playing outside of the erotic. No, that is not quite true. It is playing in a way that can be full of joy and laughter. Pet play, drug play, doll play… notice all the play? There are days when we forget that it is play. Dominance and submission don’t need to be cold, heartless for me to enjoy it. There are days when I just want to make a himbo, dress him up, and take him out. Or to play fetch with the puppy and just laugh when he gets distracted with my toes trying to escape my toes.
Being playful with hypnosis is a fun balance. There is the use of the more permissive language versus authoritative. Does that mean I am not in control? No. It means the way I am speaking is more conducive to a gleeful experience. Something positive in emotion. Though, playful can mean so many things to so many people, I think of it as an expression of joy. Sex is not necessarily there. Granted, I don’t want to fuck the puppy. The puppy is to play with. And if I don’t want to fuck my doll, then I certain want to dress it up, to play with it.
Something I like to keep in mind, how can I craft this experience to bring about a playful hypnosis session? Especially in established dynamics it is fun to break the mold and switch things around. To experiment with your sense of fun and play within the sandbox of your relationship.
